You have the option of connecting an [MQTT Client](docId\:vnTyEg2dTkRTdVFJfxLFV) and [MQTT Server](docId\:e1UMu4nrD4nuNWmTaFt8f) as DeviceHub devices.

**Note**: You can't connect the [MQTT Client](docId\:vnTyEg2dTkRTdVFJfxLFV) to the DeviceHub [MQTT Server](docId\:e1UMu4nrD4nuNWmTaFt8f) if they are using the same Belden Horizon Data Operations instance. This includes connecting through the Flows Manager or through an Integration connector. If they are using different Belden Horizon Data Operations instances, they can connect.
