You can connect a new client to the OPC UA server.

:::hint{type="warning"}
**Important**: If you are using the Docker version of Belden Horizon Data Operations and have issues connecting to an OPC UA server, do the following:

1. When adding the OPC UA server from the client, use advanced mode instead of discovery.
2. Manually enter the endpoint URL with the respective port of the Docker.
3. In Belden Horizon Data Operations, navigate to **OPC **>** Management**, click Configure, and configure the IP address to 0.0.0.0.
:::

In the following use case, the Simulator is used as the selected device and UAExpert on Windows 10 is used as the client.

To add an OPC UA Server Connection, you will need to do the following:

- Step 1: Add the Simulator Device
- Step 2: Add a Tag for the Simulator Device
- Step 3: Add Nodes to the OPC UA Hierarchy
- Step 4: Connect a Client with UA Expert

To jump to a specific section, refer to the Table of Contents on the right side and click the corresponding step.
